북적이는 용리단길. 주민들은 출근하고 비어있는 단지. 그 속에서 또다른 활기를 만들고, 사람들의 융합을 추구한다.
Bustling Yongridan-gil.
A residential complex left empty as residents head to work.
Within this emptiness, it seeks to create another form of vitality and foster the integration of people.
Concept
사이트 주변 업무지구뿐만 아니라 용리단길을 중심으로 형성된 상업지역의 발전을 통해 식사시간의 변화와 외부 방문객의 유입에도 활력을 잃지 않고 항상 생동감 넘치는 복합공간을 조성하는 것을 목표로 하였다.
In addition to the workplaces surrounding the site, the development of commercial areas centered around Yongridan-gill inspired the goal of creating a lively complex that remains bustling through changes in meal time dynamics and visits from external visitors.
Site
용산구는 거주민의 대부분이 직장인이며, 대상지가 위치한 한강로동 지역은 30대에서 50대의 연령층이 주로 거주하고 있다.
n Yongsan-gu, the majority of residents are working professionals, with individuals in their 30s to 50s residing in the Hangangno-dong area where the site is located.
Design
배치를 계획하면서 삼각지 지역을 단절시키는 장벽이 되지 않도록 두 개의 주요 축을 설정하였다. 또한 주변 경관을 고려하여 주거 건물의 높이를 조정하였다.
건물과 건물을 이으면서 대지보다 높은 레벨에 또 하나의 보행동선을 형성하고자 했다. 이는 소극적일 수 있는 주거민들이 외부에 노출되지 않고 산책을 즐길 수 있도록 하기 위해서였다.
While planning the layout, two main axes were established to ensure that the complex does not act as a barrier cutting off the Samgakji area. The heights of the residential buildings were adjusted according to the surrounding views.
Another pedestrian pathway was designed at an elevated level connecting buildings within the complex. This approach was intended to allow residents, who may prefer privacy, to enjoy walking without being exposed to external surroundings.
Program
단지 내엔 사이사이 주민 식당이 위치해 있다. 식당은 요리의 번거로움을 덜고 싶어하는 바쁜 직장인에게 편의를 주고, 한 시간대에 사람을 모아 자주 마주치게 한다.
단지내 SOC로 체육과 도서관이 결합된 문화시설이 위치해 있다. 이는 주민뿐만 아니라 인접주민에게 어른아이할 것 없이 놀 수 있는 놀이터를 제공하고자 함이다.
Within the complex, communal dining spaces are scattered throughout. These dining spaces offer convenience to busy residents who wish to avoid the hassle of cooking, gathering them together during similar meal times and encouraging frequent encounters. There’s a community-oriented cultural facility combining sports amenities and a library. This aims to provide a playground accessible to both residents and neighboring communities, welcoming visitors of all ages.
